After learning of the C.L 1 it became obvious it was the correct lap steel for me. For not much more money than a cheap lap steel and upgrades, I have a beautiful instrument with the upgrades already installed by David Certano and company. The C.L.1 is a great sounding and great looking instrument. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and would recommend Certano to anyone looking to buy a quality lap steel.

The scale length is 24 inch like a pedal steel.
Its small size allows it to be taken anywhere.
Entirely handmade, the C.L.1 is equipped with all CERTANO elements.
Bender “Le Carré”, Bridge R.R.B.1 and Roller Nut R.R.N.1.
The pickup has been specially developed for this instrument to be versatile.
